Summer Student Talent Acquisition (Domestic/International Recruitment) Opportunity
Disciplines: HR Administration, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Business Administration, Training & Development, Business Analytics
The Summer Student will support Talent Acquisition initiatives across domestic and international recruitment activities. This role provides exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle, talent sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, recruitment marketing, and onboarding processes while working closely with experienced recruitment professionals.
Typical activities include:
- Supporting recruitment activities throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and relocation support.
- Assisting with domestic and international recruitment projects and talent pipeline development.
- Utilizing sourcing tools and professional networking platforms to identify and engage passive candidates for open positions.
- Supporting recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives, including university recruiting and talent attraction campaigns.
- Conducting talent market research and compiling competitive workforce insights.
- Supporting recruitment reporting, data analysis, and special projects as assigned.
Summer Student HR Academic & Technical Programs Opportunity
Disciplines: Human Resources, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field.
The summer student will support the HR Academic & Technical Programs through administrative, analytical, and project-based assignments. The opportunity will provide practical exposure to HR operations, data reporting, contract administration, internal communications, and program coordination.
Typical activities include:
- Supporting administrative activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations and reports, and coordinating internal communications.
- Compiling, organizing, and analyzing HR-related data and metrics.
- Assisting with HR contract review, preparation, and related documentation.
- Supporting the planning and coordination of HR programs, projects, and industry engagement events.
- Assisting with process documentation and identifying opportunities to improve administrative workflows.
- Supporting additional HR initiatives and projects based on departmental needs.
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle information professionally and maintain appropriate confidentiality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Summer Student HR Performance & Administration
Disciplines: Business Administration, HR, Management Information Systems, or closely related field.
Performs a variety of administrative and clerical activities, which vary and are determined by the requirements of each specific function as listed below. Provides support to HR Performance & Administration Group.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support general administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations and reports, and managing internal communications.
- Assist in compiling, organizing, and analyzing HR-related data and metrics.
- Gain exposure to the HR contract review and preparation process.
- Participate in planning and coordinating HR programs and industry engagement events.
- Support the team with additional tasks and projects as assigned.
- Experience in MS office applications and demonstrated ability to work with high level of detail.
