OVERVIEW:

Prosperity7 Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the investment team in its Palo Alto office. This role involves a blend of calendar management, office operations, and administrative support, with regular interaction with entrepreneurs and investors across the U.S. and globally. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, is adaptable to changing priorities, and ideally brings prior experience within the venture capital or startup ecosystem.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Manage complex and dynamic calendars using Outlook; coordinate internal and external meetings, often across multiple time zones.
  • Support office operations, including vendor coordination and supply management.
  • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Teams, Ariba, SAP, and Concur for scheduling, procurement, reporting, and expense processing (training provided as needed).
  • Handle confidential and high-level administrative tasks with discretion, including preparing reports, managing NDAs, and supporting financial and budgeting processes.
  • Provide direct support to the Regional Managing Director and investment professionals by tracking key projects and managing special assignments.
  • Assist with operational support for intern programs, including timekeeping and onboarding logistics.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education or business school training preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive administrative experience, preferably in a corporate or investment environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and clearly in English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel.
  • Demonstrated discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational habits, reliability, and a commitment to professional conduct and business etiquette.

 

NO THIRD PARTY CANDIDATES ACCEPTED; TEMPORARY POSITION ANTICIPATED TO LAST APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR.

 

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is $32.28 - $64.06 per hour. Final rate for this role is based on several factors, including the individual’s geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses and/or certifications.
