JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Provide analytical and technical support in financial and accounting matters to both staff and management for the resolution of intricate accounting issues. Propose, develop, and execute modifications to accounting policies, procedures, processes, and systems. Generate complex financial forecasts, reports, and other analyses. Assume a leadership role, if required, overseeing the work of less-experienced analysts to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide advanced analytical support to staff and management, offering insights and solutions for complex accounting issues.
  • Propose, develop, and implement changes to accounting policies, procedures, processes, and systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and generate intricate financial forecasts, reports, and analyses to assist in strategic decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and advancements, bringing technical expertise to enhance accounting practices.
  • Assume a leadership role when necessary, providing guidance and oversight to less-experienced analysts to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial and accounting strategies into broader business goals.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, proposing risk mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with risk management protocols.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
  • Work on modifications and enhancements to financial systems, leveraging technological solutions to streamline accounting processes.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, fostering their professional growth within the accounting domain.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, conducting regular audits and reviews as needed.
  • Generate and present comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties, communicating complex financial data in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process by offering financial insights and participating in discussions related to the company's long-term financial goals.
  • Prepare the team for internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial records are accurate, well-documented, and compliant with auditing standards and requirements.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated or assigned, commensurate with the seniority of the role.

  • Interact with customers to understand their financial requirements and provide relevant support.
  • Communicate with governmental bodies to ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting obligations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Skills (Required, Preferred)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Exhibit the capability to make compelling presentations and lead meetings with senior management, emphasizing effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and guide less-experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to analyze complex accounting issues, identify effective solutions, and implement changes to enhance financial processes.

Preferred

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Experience & Knowledge (Required, Preferred)

  • Minimum 9 years of diversified accounting experience, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of various accounting functions.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of accounting policies and procedures established in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proficient in utilizing SAP for the analysis of account balances and the production of standard.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to accounting standards, ensuring adherence to legal and industry-specific regulations.

Abilities & Specific Requirements (Required, Preferred)

  • Showcase a profound understanding of the content of financial statements prepared within the IFRS framework.
  • Proven ability to conduct in-depth research on IFRS or Aramco Trading accounting and financial reporting matters, including preparing preliminary findings, analyzing alternative approaches, and recommending preferred actions for ATC.
  • Proficient in utilizing advanced financial systems and technologies beyond SAP, demonstrating an ability to adapt to emerging technologies for enhanced financial analysis and reporting.

Preferred

  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of long-term financial strategies, aligning accounting practices with the overall goals of ATC.
