Secretary to President & CEO (901-3328)

Basic Function

The essential function of this position is to perform highly skilled administrative and secretarial assignments for President & CEO of Saudi Refining, Incorporated (SRI).  This position requires exercise of discretion and judgment in interpretation of SRI policy and procedures and referral of questions to appropriate management personnel. This position requires initiative in being able to anticipate the needs of the President & CEO and all duties require a high degree of confidentiality. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide executive administrative and secretarial support to the President & CEO’s office handling mail, administrative files, transcription and typing services
  • Maintain appointment calendar, resolve schedule conflicts and schedule meetings as directed
  • Create and produce various ad hoc and routine management reports as required
  • Utilizing presentation manager programs, produce various management presentations for SRI staff personnel
  • Coordinate planning and logistics for business trips, conferences and large meetings, ensuring that all arrangements are complete and of acceptable standard
  • Receive visitors and phone calls, tactfully determine the nature of the call and refer to appropriate individual or handle the business personally
  • Prepare and maintain confidential Company documents such as minutes, management information items, letters and memos
  • Perform other administrative and support duties as directed by the President and CEO

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year business or trade school is preferred; CPS designation is ideal, but not required
  • Ten (10) years of progressively more responsible, secretarial and administrative experience required; three (3) years at a senior or executive level position
  • Proficient with word-processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation manager programs in the windows environment    
  • Polished telephone etiquette
  • Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlined
  • Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette
